The she-bolt system is extremely versatile in that it can be used with different form thicknesses while at the same time allows for variations in set-back. This system allows for the she-bolts to be pre-assembled to the inside tie rod and passed thru the formwork from one end, thus allowing both sides of the form to be in place prior to installation.

FORM HANGERS
BRIDGE DECK HANGER-TYPE 1
The type 1 bridge deck hanger is designed for use on interior steel or concrete beams, utilizing 1/2" dia. coil bolts or coil rod bolts.
NOTE: End sections are designed to accept 1/2" coil bolts or coil rod only.

BRIDE DECK HANGER-TYPE 1A
The type 1A bridge deck hanger is designed for outboard steel or concrete beams supporting the cantelevered formwork on which the overhang is poured. This hanger utilizes both a 90 degree end section for the interior formwork and a 45 degree end section for the overhang.
NOTE: End sections are designed to accept 1/2" coil bolts or coil rod only.

Caution: It is not recommended that this hanger be used when concrete finishing machines or conveyor systems are used. See interlocking type hangers.

 

 

EXAMPLE OF TYPE-1A HANGER IN USE

  
BRIDGE DECK HANGER-TYPE 2
The type 2 bridge deck hanger is designed to compensate for the haunch condition created by pre-cambered beams which are designed to offset pre-calculated dead loads.
The hanger is capable of allowing a haunch condition of up to 1" above the girder.
NOTE: End sections are designed to accept 1/2" coil bolts or coil rod only.
SAFE WORKING LOAD: 2,375 lbs. per side
BRIDGE DECK HANGER-TYPE 2A
The type 2A bridge deck hanger is designed for holding overhang formwork when concrete finishing machines or conveyors are not being used.
Similar to the type 1A hanger the type 2A hanger is used when a haunch condition exists up to a maximum of 1" above the girder.
NOTE: End sections are designed to accept 1/2" coil bolts or coil rod only.
